Central Asia, Iran, Bronze Age, ca. late 3rd to early 2nd century BCE. Bronze axe head with large flaring blade, rounded shaft with circular incised decoration and decorative flange at top. Size: 4-3/8"L (11,1cm).
Provenance: Ex-private York, UK collection acquired on the British art market before 2000.
