A pair of ancient cast bronze and copper axe heads - one with a downward slanting and flared blade and the other with a secondary blade on the butt end. The Luristan bronze axe head has a tubular socketing shaft incised with stippled motifs, and the cutting edge is thick and blunt- indicating this was a votive or ceremonial piece.
