108. Ivory Mildly Erotic Cane-Ca. 1890-A classical mildly erotic cane with a large, single piece ivory handle on a Coco-Palm wood shaft with a white metal collar and a brass ferrule. The L-shaped handle is delicately carved to depict a reclining Venus with folded arms behind the head, exposing her generous breasts, intimate parts and two beautiful, long legs. Her head with long hair shows a beautiful face with a dreamy and sensual expression, and her eyes looking in the distance engage instantly the viewer in a visual dialog. Elegant and seductive, this cane was obviously used in a rough way.
