A typed letter from President Dwight Eisenhower, addressed to one E. M. Burnham. 1p on White House letterhead, measuring 6" x 6.5" (visible), Washington, D.C., dated April 8, 1955. Initialed by the President as "D.E." at conclusion, reading in full: "Many thanks for sending me the book. If its recommendations could prove half as beneficial as the results I hear you have derived, I'd be forever in your debt." Accompanied by the letter's original mailing envelope, postmarked the same day. Expected letter folds present, with light paperclip indentation at top left. Otherwise, very good. Matted and displayed to the overall size of 11.75" x 12.25".
