From The private collection of Earl Sorensen, based out of Atlanta, is known as a prominent Asian Antiques collector. A International businessman whom trades with various Asian countries during the 1960s. On a business trip in Western China, he received a Buddha statue as gift from a monk. Since then, he has became fascinated with Chinese artifacts and Eastern cultures. After many decades, Earl Sorensen has planned his retirement, and decided to pass his beloved collections to appreciate collectors. Earl Sorensen's collections can be found from Lot-33 through Lot-65.

Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Plum Vase. Potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against blue colour, depicted of five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames, vapours, chasing blazing pearl amidst scrolling cumulus clouds, with face toward the heavens. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful white under glaze. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. On Shoulder bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
