From The private collection of Earl Sorensen, based out of Atlanta, is known as a prominent Asian Antiques collector. A International businessman whom trades with various Asian countries during the 1960s. On a business trip in Western China, he received a Buddha statue as gift from a monk. Since then, he has became fascinated with Chinese artifacts and Eastern cultures. After many decades, Earl Sorensen has planned his retirement, and decided to pass his beloved collections to appreciate collectors. Earl Sorensen's collections can be found from Lot-33 through Lot-65.

Chinese Qing Dynasty YongZheng Blue and White Porcelain Amphorae Vase. Potted in a amphora shaped vase, large, thick and tall, globular body, heavy on rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent cylindrical neck, with flaring mouth rim, emerging two archaic pattern flanked on the neck, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against blue colour, depicted of abundant flowers blooms interspersed foliage and water plants above thrashing lishui wavy waves. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
