Chinese Qing Dynasty JiaQing Wucai Fu bat Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, round rim, thick and large, raised on correspondence slightly concave footed ring base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of Shou Chinese calligraphy surrounded with five flying Fu bats. The word bat Fu, in Chinese culture and meaning the five blessings, prosperity, good fortune, and can even delineate happiness.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark.
