From The private collection of Earl Sorensen, based out of Atlanta, is known as a prominent Asian Antiques collector. A International businessman whom trades with various Asian countries during the 1960s. On a business trip in Western China, he received a Buddha statue as gift from a monk. Since then, he has became fascinated with Chinese artifacts and Eastern cultures. After many decades, Earl Sorensen has planned his retirement, and decided to pass his beloved collections to appreciate collectors. Earl Sorensen's collections can be found from Lot-33 through Lot-65.

Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Jar. Potted with a large cylinder vessel, having thick and tall potted body, slight ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, round opening lip, raised on short ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against famille rose design colour, depicted of five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames, vapours, chasing blazing pearl amidst scrolling cumulus clouds, with face toward the heavens. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China?s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
