Chinese Kangxi Blue and WhiteTen Thousand Calligraphy Porcelain Bottle Vase On Hardwood Stand. Potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against blue colour, depicted of ten thousand Chinese calligraphy lettering inscriptions poems. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years KangXi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
