Description
A small sword M 1889 made of Damascus steel, circa 1905Beidseitig doppelt gekehlte Rückenklinge aus Schmiededamast, geschärft, beidseitig an der Wurzel vergoldete Zierätzungen, darauf das bekrönte Württembergische Wappen und die Banderole "Eisenhauer Damaststahl". Reich reliefiertes, vergoldetes Buntmetall-Messingbügelgefäß (berieben) mit durchbrochen gearbeitetem Klappstichblatt, darauf das bekrönte württembergische Wappen, an der Knaufkappe rückseitig die Königschiffre "KR" unter Krone, Fischhauthilze mit dreifacher silberner Drahtwicklung, intakte Fingerschlaufe. Schwarz lackierte Eisenscheide (Rostspuren) mit einem beweglichen Tragering und später ergänztem ledernen Gehängeteil. Später ergänzter Faustriemen. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 94 cm. Seltene Variante in besonders edler Ausführung.Condition: II
