A small sword for cavalry officers with Ziegler signature, mid-18th centurySchlanke, kräftige Stichklinge von linsenförmigem Querschnitt (fleckig, etwas schartig), am Ansatz geätzt die Initialen "G : Z" unter radförmigem Zeichen (Klingenfabrik Ziegler, Dresden) sowie die Devisen "Pro Deo et Patria" und "Soli Deo Gloria". Reich im Rokokostil reliefiertes Messingbügelgefäß (Vergoldungsspuren, Riss am Griffbügel), herzförmiges Stichblatt (locker). Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 90 cm. Seltener Degen eines Kavallerieoffiziers aus der Zeit Friedrichs des Großen.Condition: II
