Description
An eleven-piece orders clasp awarded to Commander Major Fuchs during World War IOrder of the Iron Crown, Knight's Cross (non-ferrous metal, gilt, star hallmark) with Swords. Military Merit Cross 3rd Class (silver, head mark "2 A"). Silver medal "Signum Laudis" (edge hallmark "A"), inscription around the edge reads: "Dem aufopferungsvollen Kommandanten des braven Stndsch. Baons Innsbruck II. Major Fuchs in dankbarer Erinnerung an den 30. u. 31. VIII 1917 Rttmstr. von Schweiler". Gold medal "Signum Laudis" (FJI). Karl Troop Cross. Medal "Signum Memoriae". Jubilee Cross 1848 - 1908. Medal "Quinque Lustra" (FJI). Tyrol Commemorative Medal for World War I. Elongated oval medal of the Royal Bavarian Life Guard Regiment for the Defence of Tyrol (1915). Bulgarian Order of St Alexander. Grey cloth sewn on the back and three vertical hooks to attach the clasp to the bearer's uniform. A few, minor defects in the enamel, tears in the fabric, signs of age and wear. Awarded to Major Franz Xaver Fuchs, commander of the Standschützen Battalion Innsbruck II (a copy of a portrait photograph is enclosed).
