This is a very scarce and wonderful country-of-origin poster with Rene Peron artwork, for the comedy classic.

Before being mounted on linen, there were several staple holes around the edges and at corners. The linen has been trimmed up to the edges of the poster. The poster seems to be in exceptional condition.

A classic in foreign film comedy. Jacques Tati's first feature-length directorial effort also found him in the lead role as a happy-go-lucky mailman, making his deliveries at his usual slow pace each day until the carnival arrives. While there, he watches a newsreel depicting the American version of rapid mail delivery. This comedy depicts the mailman's version of modernizing his delivery to be as good as the Americans.
