A Meissen chinoiserie arbour group, circa 1755
Modelled by P. Reinicke, a couple seated in an arbour, he seated on a chair wearing a yellow robe and puce hat and handing her a book, she wearing a puce flower-decorated robe and white undergown with indianische Blumen, the pierced arbour embellished with gilt-edged rocaille and trailing floral foliage, the base applied with leaves and flowers, mounted on a wooden base fitted with a lamp, 19.2cm high (the Meissen group)

There are a few typical scattered minor chips overall to the applied leaves, stems and flowers.
There are two tiny spots of flaking from the gilding on the book.
There are some miniscule spots of wear to the edge of his left shoe, and along the purple edge of his yellow robe. There are some miniscule spots of wear to the gilt tip of his hat.
Overall in good condition.
