A black and white 8" x 10" photograph of the Memphis Belle and her crew, signed by nine crew members. The original photograph was taken at East Hartford, Connecticut in 1943 during a visit to the Hamilton Standard Company. Signed in blue and black ink by nine crew members. With numbered ink notations on verso at the top edge. All of the signatures are bold, with only two that are slightly smudged. Very fine overall.

The Memphis Belle is a Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress used during the Second World War and flown by Col. Robert K. Morgan. It was one of the first United States Army Air Forces B-17 heavy bombers to complete 25 combat missions and inspired the making of two motion pictures: a 1944 documentary film, "Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress" and the 1990 Hollywood feature film, "Memphis Belle".
