Signed Poster
A large poster entitled "Atomic Warfare is Born", signed by Enola Gay Crewmen Paul W. Tibbets, Theodore J. Van Kirk, and Thomas Ferebee. 1p, measuring 18" x 24", no place, undated. Featuring a printed illustration by aviation artist Harley Copic, depicting the Enola Gay in flight amidst the Hiroshima mission. Captioned below in part: "Precisely at 17 seconds past 8:15 a.m. on 6 August, 1945, Colonel Paul W. Tibbets and the crew of the ENOLA GAY... released the first atomic weapon, nicknamed 'Little Boy'." Scattered foxing present on left side, exhibiting curled edges from rolling. Overall good condition with bold signatures throughout.
