Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Wucai Porcelain Garlic Vase. Potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, long cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slight concaved foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against Wucai design color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayfish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
