Paul Riesenfeld was a music scientist, musicologist, born in Wroclaw, Jewish descent, was interned in Dachau and Buchenwald, was released and emigrated to Israel. As a result, the book is not just about music, but the author also writes about the wrong ways of nationalism and political ideology.
