Description
Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd centuries CE. Lovely glass vessel of globular form with concave base in light green glass with teal blue applied handles and a deep blue applied rim. A silvery iridescence imparts an almost effervescent visage to the vessel but what truly sets this one apart is the use of three distinct colored glass. A most desirable example of fine Roman glasswork! Size: 3.5" W x 5.0612" H (8.9 cm x 12.9 cm)
