Untitled work depicting an older man and woman outside a cabin with a black cat running away from a tipped jug. Ward's works often depict pioneer life and feature the characters Miranda and Hezzakaiah. Her primitive, and sometimes humorous, works have since given her the affectionate title of "Grandma Moses of the Ozarks."
