Extensive Medical/Biochemistry Archive ft. Nobel Prize Winners & Notable Scientists, Ca. 1949-87
A signed archive, consisting mainly of reprinted publications from fifteen individual authors, with some accompanied by an additional signed card, totaling 20 pieces in all, ranging in date between 1949-1987. Signatures include such names as Jonas Salk, Glenn T. Seaborg, James Van Allen, and many others, approximately half of whom are Nobel Prize laureates in the fields of medicine or chemistry. Please see below and accompanying images for further information on contents. Varying degrees of wear, including areas of soiling, creasing, and general toning throughout. Very good overall. A fantastic collection highlighting scientific advances of the 20th century!

1.) Jonas Salk TLS, 1p, dated September 28, 1983, San Diego, CA. Accompanied by reprinted publication of Vaccination Against Paralytic Poliomyelitis Performance and Prospects (1955).
2.) Glenn T. Seaborg signed card, 4" x 6".
3.) James Van Allen signed and inscribed page, ca. December 1987.
4.) Charles H. Best TLS, 2p, dated November 15, 1972, Toronto, Canada.
5.) John Kendrew pair of two signed reprinted publications: A Three-Dimensional Model of the Myoglobin Molecule… (1958) and Structure of Myoglobin (1960) with accompanying ANS on personal stationary.
6.) Har Gobind Khorana signed reprinted lecture entitled Polynucleotide Synthesis and the Genetic Code (1968).
7.) Frederick Sanger signed reprinted publication Determination of Nucleotide Sequences in DNA (1981).
8.) Thomas H. Weller signed reprinted copy of Cultivation of Poliomyelitis Virus in Cultures of Human Foreskin and Embryonic Tissues (1949).
9.) Max Ferdinand Perutz signed reprinted publication, X-ray Analysis of Hemoglobin (1963) with accompanying AQS.
10.) Robert W. Holley signed reprinted publication, Structure of a Ribonucleic Acid (1965).
11.) Clyde W. Tombaugh signed and hand annotated pages from a photocopy of his book Out of the Darkness: The Planet Pluto (1980).
12.) Renato Dulbecco signed copy of The Salk Institute Newsletter, featuring an article on his research entitled Breast Cancer: The search for cellular insights.
13.) Denton A. Cooley signed and inscribed reprinted publication, Orthotopic Cardiac Prosthesis for Two-Staged Cardiac Replacement (1969) with accompanying signed card.
14.) Adolf Butenandt signed reprinted publication, The Discovery of Oestrone (1979).
15.) Physical Research by Henry Holt, signed on last page.
