COPY OF REED'S "PARLIMENTARY RULES" TOGETHER WITH "THOMAS B. REED PARLIAMENTARIAN AMERICAN POLITICAL LEADERS". Book is by William A. Robinson, copyright 1930 by Dodd, Mead and Company, Inc. Printed by the Vail-Ballou Press, Inc., Binghamton, N.Y. A biography of Thomas B. Reed while in the House of Representatives. 423 pages. The framed letter is from Thomas Reed to Honorable H.H. Smith inquiring about the origins of "farming out the member's hour". Affixed to the back of the frame is a facsimile of the fronticepiece found in the attached full volume in this frame. A copy of a report found in the Boston Daily Globe; Sept. 10, 1931 and a typed summation of the front and the text of the letter. SIZE: Overall of frame is 15" x 18 1/2". CONDITION: very fine condition under conservatory glass. (05-366/TG). $200-400.
