Rare gold value chart from the American Civil War, covering 1862 to July 1864, with extensive notes along the line of the various battles, surrenders, and other significant events. OCLC locates 3 copies held by Columbia University, University of New Mexico and New York Public Libraries. Bookseller sticker on front cover. Previous owner has added in values through February 1865 in ink.
Condition
Covers worn and detached; varying toning and foxing to chart, ill-creasing, small tears along folds, edge panels chipped, no loss to chart; very good.
