An antique 19th century Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock print, Genji ato shu yojo, The safflower Chapter 6, from the series Romantic reminiscences of Genji by Utagawa Kunisada also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, Japanese 1786 to 1865. Ink and color on fine paper. Matted and framed. Note: Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan.
