Jack Kerouac's personal copy of "The Music Masters, Volume I: From the Sixteen Century to the Time of Beethoven" edited by A. L. Bacharach. Harmondsworth: Penguin Books Ltd., 1957. A Pelican Book edition. Sixteenmo, 372pp plus unpaginated ads. Blue illustrated paper wraps. Stamped with both a Jack Kerouac Estate stamp and the raised blind seal from the Executor of the Estate, John Sampas, who was the brother-in-law of Jack Kerouac and the brother of Stella Kerouac, Jack's wife. Internal pages toned with light dampstaining. Slightly warped. Covers are toned, soiled, worn, and creased. Overall very good.
