Jack Kerouac's personal copy of "Either/Or", Volume One by Søren Kierkegaard. Garden City: Anchor Books, Double Day & Company, Inc., 1959. Translated by David F. Swenson and Lillian M. Swenson. Sixteenmo, xii, 465pp, including notes and an index. Stamped on the half-title page with both a Jack Kerouac Estate stamp and the raised blind seal from the Executor of the Estate, John Sampas, who was the brother-in-law of Jack Kerouac and the brother of Stella Kerouac, Jack's wife. Black and white paper wraps. Toned throughout with light soiling. Bumping at the corners. Very good overall.
