Description

Another first for me is this post WWII silverplated hot food cover made for joint service on the Boston & Maine and Maine Central Railroads. International Silver made this piece and it has a date code of [47], which means 1947. This was part of the lightweight passenger cars ordered after World War II. Only 2 cars were constructed. There is one small dent near the interior markings. There are no markings on the exterior, just the markings underneath.
