Pre-Columbian, Ecyador, La Tolita- Tumaco c.350 BC.350 AD. Size 8 inches high. A fine hand-formed figure depicting a seated male with his hand on his ear is if the be listening. He is wearing a tunic with a rope like belt, wears an incised informal headdress and head band. The figure has arm scarification and ear spools with earrings. The facial features are prominent with almond shaped eyes, wide nose and large parted lips. There is working whistle on the reverse side of the head.
