Two Taunton, MA Land Deeds Issued to Daniel Linkon, 1716 & 1722
A pair of Massachusetts deeds issued to Daniel Linkon [Lincoln] in 1716 and 1722. Both are for land tracts in Taunton, Massachusetts. Signed and sealed by John Linkon Sr. Countersigned by Daniel Nickoles, Frances Linkon, and Mary Nickoles. Signed and acknowledged before Justice Henry Hodges.
The second deed, measuring 11.75" x 8" (sight), dated October 29, 1722, is made out by Thomas Harvey, who gives 1/2 acre and 10 rods to Daniel, in consideration of 45 shillings. Signed and sealed by Harvey, and witnessed by John Waters.
