A TEXAS ROBERTSON COLONY TRANSLATED SPANISH LAND DEED BY ELIJAH STERLING C. ROBERTSON, GENERAL LAND OFFICE, AUSTIN, SEPTEMBER 19, 1849, a document of four manuscripts on hand-lined wove paper, with General Land Office red relief seal, George Washington Smyth (1803-1866), second commissioner of the General Land Office, signed, original document for Charles Curtis' property near rivers Salado and Lampasas. 12 1/2" x 7 5/8" Provenance: Estate of Dr. Paul E. Shutts, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Tears, lacerations, crease, some toning, minor losses, old tape, and repairs, overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age.
