A rare, limited-edition printing of Friedrich Nietzsches philosophical work of fiction, Thus Spake Zarathustra. A famous work that the German philosopher considered his magnum opus. Containing the famous and polarizing quote, “God is Dead,” Nietzsche presents and interacts with multiple themes that he is well known for such as, “Will to power,” the “Übermensch,” Eternal recurrence, criticism of religion, and nihilism. He portrays these through discourses given by the character of Zoroaster (i.e., Zarathustra).
This 1909 limited edition is numbered #1409 of 2000. Published in London by T.N. Foulis, this work is the fourth volume of a very rare printing of the Complete Works of Friedrich Nietzsche. It was translated by Thomas Common and edited by Oscar Levy.
