This dehydrated glue is a known common issue with this particular set, and often many pages are lost and damaged as a result. This copy has lost plates # 1, 2, and 59, with damage to the image noted on plate #86. A complete page-by-page inspection revealed, tanning and age-related paper changes, both light card stock type paper and thinner glossy paper were used by the publisher, chipping, corner rounding, dog ears, and edge losses are noted on many of the more brittle thick pages.
