Native American, North America, Eastern Woodland, ca. 200 to 1000 CE. A set of 3 hand-knapped stone arrowheads of varying forms and all exhibiting hues of gray and light brown. The first point features a forked tail, protruding fins, and a pointed tip. The second point is of a straighter form with a slightly bulging midsection as well as a flat tail. The largest arrowhead is of petaloid form with a sharply knapped tail and edges that taper gradually until ending in a pointed tip. Size of largest: 3.9" L x 1.75" W (9.9 cm x 4.4 cm)
Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010

Each piece has light abrasions and nicks commensurate with age and the knapping process, otherwise intact and very good. Nice surface smoothness and sharp edges.
