A Las Bocas tecomate white globular bowl. This very elegant, gently sloping bowl with a plain rim is perfectly proportional, and has slight surface markings which may have been made from the removal of burial material. Burnished white-slipped ceramic. Early Formative, 1200 BCE to 900 BCE. Central Valley/Puebla, Mexico. 3 3/4" x 4 1/4".Condition: Excellent, with no apparent breaks or repairs.Provenance: From the Boeckman Collection. Dallas, Texas. Acquired 12/3/1969.
