Description
Three Displays of Flown Kapton Foil from Apollo 11, 13, & 16 Missions
Three displays of space-flown pieces of Kapton Mylar foil from the Apollo 11, 13, and 16 missions. The foil provided thermal protection for the command module and was removed after splashdown. Each sheet displays both the silver and gold sides. The pieces of foil have expected wear, with areas of visible charring from re-entry. Overall very good.

The second display has two pieces, measuring between 0.25-0.5" x 1", taken from A-13 CM #109. Housed in a circular display case and mounted to an 8.5" x 11" sheet.
The third and final display has two pieces, measuring between 0.25-0.625" x 0.5-1.25", taken from A-16 CM #113. Housed in a circular display case and mounted to an 8.5" x 11" sheet.
