Three Displays of Flown Kapton Polyimide Foil from Apollo 11,13, and 16

A group of three of displays of space-flown pieces of Kapton Mylar foil from the Apollo 11, Apollo 13, and Apollo 16 missions. The foil provided thermal protection for the command module and was removed after splashdown. The first display has three pieces, measuring between 0.25" and 0.875" in length, taken from A-11 CM #107 "Columbia". The second display has two pieces, measuring 0.625" x 0.5" and 0.875" x 0.5", taken from A-13 CM #109 "Odyssey". The third and final display has two pieces, measuring 0.25" x 0.5" and 0.75" x 0.625", taken from A-16 CM#113 "Casper". All of the pieces have been housed in a circular display case and mounted to an 8.5" x 11" information sheet, with each sheet displaying both the silver and gold sides. The pieces of foil have expected wear, with areas of visible charring from re-entry. Overall very good.
