No.2, comprising 40 examples with FDC date stamps 15th July 1970, including examples signed by Rear Admiral Sir Anthony Miers, Lieutenant Colonel Eric Wilson, James Gordon, Major General George Pearkes, Captain Richard Stannard, Brigadier Lorne MacLaine Campbell, Commander Norman Holbrook, and Charles Smith Rutherford, together with a similar album of assorted first day covers, all relating to and signed by Victoria Cross recipients, including Sir Philip Neame (the only person to have won a VC and Olympic gold medal), Sir Tasker Watkins (later Welsh Lord of Justice Appeal and President of the Welsh Rugby Union), William Reid, and Cyril Bassett (Gallipoli Campaign) a 'Victoria Cross Battles of the Second World War' book, signed by 22 recipients of the Victoria Cross, including Captain Richard Annand (the first member of the British Army to have been awarded a VC in WWII), John Cruickshank (the last living recipient of a WWII VC), Rear Admiral Godfrey Place, and Keith Payne and a The Victoria Cross Centenary Exhibition booklet, dated 15th June - 7th July 1956 Condition Report: FDCs in a good condition, with no obvious rips or tears. The book is price clipped, with wear to the edges of the paper cover and some marks throughout. The edges of the booklet are worn, with marks and stains to the pages.
