210 十八世紀青白玉獸面紋壽字出戟朝冠耳三足蓋爐

青白玉質，溫潤細膩，寶光蘊澤。分為蓋與爐身，子母口相合。蓋面隆起，平頂，頂設捉鈕，鈕上刻團壽紋，有祈福增壽祥瑞之意。蓋面六等距出戟，其間飾獸面紋，獸眼大睜，濃眉捲曲，威嚴霸氣。爐身圓口，束頸，鼓腹下收，下承三獸首吞足。兩側有朝冠耳，方闊挺秀，耳與爐身之間以管形器相連。爐身對應蓋面有六道出戟，其間刻獸面紋，獸面猙獰，顯露神秘古韻。
清皇室在入關前就非常重視皇帝壽辰，認為皇帝長壽是「大德在身、治國有成」的標誌。清代皇帝壽辰稱為萬壽節，是與元旦、冬至並列的清宮三大節日之一。慶典期間，京城內搭建臨時戲台和演出賀壽劇目，各地長者亦會獲得賞賜，以彰顯普天同慶。清高宗乾隆愛玉如痴，對三代青銅器也有強烈愛好，在當時金石考據風氣和個人興趣影響下，親自撰寫《五瑞五器說》、《圭瑁說》等考證文章，還組織編寫《西清古鑑》、《寧壽鑑古》、《西清續鑑》等古物圖錄，並以之作為宮廷仿古玉器的範本，亦成為貴族間爭相仿傚的復刻擬古風格。如北京故宮博物院庋藏清中期〈和闐青玉獸面紋雙耳爐〉，與本品皆為仿古之佳作，藍本取自欽定四庫全書－西清古鑑、卷六．周〈蟠螭鼎一〉圖譜，然在造形及紋飾方面加以增減變化，既有上古之樣，又具時代之風。
拍場相似之例可參見拍賣於中國嘉德2014年11月20日，編號3345，清乾隆〈白玉饕餮紋出戟朝冠耳三足蓋爐〉，與本品形制相近，皆展現出乾隆朝的復古風範。本件蓋爐造形優美，構思巧妙，頂部加團壽鈕，滿飾獸面紋，雕琢精細，繁而不亂，處處彰顯古拙之韻。整器雅緻脫俗，具宮廷製玉風範，作為文房清供，於富麗中增添典雅之姿，實為精彩，可為尊貴賀壽佳禮。
