Chinese Bronze Incense Burner on 3 Elephant Head & Trunk legs, the sides with flanges, Taotie masks and double handles from the mouth edge, an archaistic inscription to inside wall; with a fitted Hard Wood cover with Jade finial in pale celadon and russet, well carved with Deer, Trees and Rocks. Total height 17 inches (43 cm.). Height of Jade finial 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm.).

Age related wear to bronze and to patina with a few minor casting flaws, the Hard Wood cover with 1 edge section cracked and re-stuck.
