John Penn was the son of William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. This deed was granting Adam Shick a tract of land in Northampton County, dated 3 April 1771. Crossed out name of Benjamin Eastburg Surveyor General and period handwritten name added over top for John Lukens. Framed, very good condition.
