Reagan 1954 DS as Secretary of the Motion Picture Industry Council
Ronald Reagan signed copy of the Minutes for a meeting of the Motion Picture Industry Council (MPIC) on March 17, 1954. Reagan signs as Secretary of the Council in blue ballpoint on the last page, "Ronald Reagan". Additionally signed by Art Arthur as Executive Secretary of the Council. Minutes run five pages on five sheets, measuring 8" x 11". Three-hole punched on the left side, light toning, faint creasing, else near fine condition. Includes additional MPIC unsigned documents, as pictured.
The MPIC was established in 1948 on the heels of the House Un-American Activities Committee hearings, in order to promote conservative values in entertainment.
