Single page typed letter signed, 8.5" x 11", on Evelyn Lincoln's personal stationery. Dated "November 21, 1994", and signed by Evelyn Lincoln, President Kennedy's secretary who was in the motorcade at the time of the assassination. Fine condition.
An eyewitness account of the Kennedy assassination by his personal secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, who was in the motorcade in Dallas "a few cards behind the President's car … when all of a sudden I noticed his car dart out to the right. In the confusion my (typo) finally pulled up at the Parkland Hospital, where I was met by Dr. George Burkley who said to me "I think he is gone." That was the first time that assassination entered my mind. I rushed to the lobby and there was Jackie sitting on a straight back chair outside the room where they had brought the President. I rushed over to her and threw my arms around her, but she never moved …"
