Native American, Southwestern United States, Utah, San Juan County, Montezuma Canyon / Creek, Ancestral Puebloan, ca. 1000 BCE to 1300 CE. A fine collection of 18 knapped projectile points each made from black obsidian. The types are mostly triangular with side notches and fins, most represented are identifiable types which include Desert Side Notch, Elko Eared / Elko Corner Notch, and Northern Side Notch. All are displayed in a modern Riker case as a great educational and historical collection from the American Southwest!
