Hoover TLS to Good Friend Jeremiah Milbank 1933

HOOVER, HERBERT. Typed Letter Signed, “Herbert Hoover”, 1 p., on his personal letterhead, September 11, 1933, n.p., 7.25" x 10.25”, attached to a slightly larger piece of brown cardstock. Verso of cardstock has cutouts of a newspaper article attached. Flattened mailing folds, adhesive at verso which shows through, creasing, else Very Good.

Hoover writes one of his lengthier letters to good friend Jerry Milbank in response to Milbank’s note. Their apparent continued conversation includes such subjects as “the New York Life issue matter”, inflation, the NRA, and employment.
