A fragment of a redware pitcher comprising the handle and spout formed as a cockerel with fin-shaped comb, pellet eyes, textured feather detailing; thick strap handle to the rear with running tendril ornament. 200 grams, 18.5cm (7 1/4"). From the late Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; from her collection formed 1960s-1990s. [No Reserve]
