Lot of three total images housed in two thermoplastic cases. The first images are a wonderful matching pair of sixth-plate ambrotypes that were made at the same sitting. The subjects are an older couple who appear quite well-dressed. These images are near mint and razor sharp. They are housed in matching brass hardware and are in the same double-sided octagonal thermoplastic case, which is mint. The second image is a sixth-plate tintype of a delightful older man who peers to the right away from the camera. This type of pose is more common in images from Europe, particularly the United Kingdom. In any event, he wears interesting leggings that feature a row of white buttons. This image is also in excellent condition and is housed in a full leatherette case.
