March 28, 1814-Dated War of 1812 Period, Official Imprint, Committee report to U.S. Congress on Revolutionary War Pensions and Claims, published by Roger C. Weightman, Washington City, Choice Very Fine.
This scarce original printing of this official 8 page report, measuring 5" x 8", disbound, was to the United States Congress by the Congressional "The Committee on Pensions and Revolutionary Claims". A clean crisp imprint on period wove paper having some light offset on the face page and extremely clean throughout. This important report regards requests by certain named individuals for increased pensions payments or reimbursement for "debts unpaid" since the conclusion of the American Revolutionary War. This report was published by Roger C. Weightman, Washington City, 1814. It appears that none of the claims were accepted. The end of the report reads, "Resolved. That the petitioners respectively have leave to withdraw their petitions."
