Revolutionary War soldier Henry Bennett transfers the balance of “Fourteen pounds Seventeen Shilling & eleven pence” to William Hall “Subject to 7½ percent Deduction for my agent”. Witnessed by Justice of the Peace, John Gaston, with remnants of bright red wax seal.
