Description
STAFFORDSHIRE FRENCH VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SOUP PLATES, LOT OF THREE, comprising one example featuring "VUE DU CHATEAU / ERMENONVILLE", one example depicting "LA GRANGE THE RESIDENCE / OF THE / MARQUIS LA FAYETTE", and one example with "VUE DU / CHATEAU DE COUCY", each having floral and fruit border design with printed pattern name to underside, from the French series. Additional marks to underside include impressed eagle with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA", "L", and "Z". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 9 1/8" to 10 1/4" D.
