Description
STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COVERED SAUCE TUREEN, UNDERTRAY AND LADLE, each featuring "Upper Ferry Bridge / over the / River Schuylkill", as printed to underside of undertray, depicting an extensive bridge over a river, figures, wagons, and boats in the surrounding landscape, and spread eagle and scroll border decoration. Joseph Stubbs, Longport, England. 1822-1835. 6 3/8" HOA.
